Erick Gilbert has come a long way from his college days at the University of Rochester as a graduate with a degree in Anthropology..Born & raised in Denver, Colorado, Erick always had an interest in cooking but never realized his true calling until he started working at the Center City Café under the guidance of David Dahan. Realizing jobs in anthropology were not too plentiful he decided to pursue his other passion, cooking. Chef Erick got involved in catering & Kosher supervising while working as a Mashgiach-checking all the green leafy products coming thru the door at the City Center Café. He soon found a job at GWU at the Hallal House as their catering manager. During his summers off from the university job he decided to combine his interest in traveling with cooking & worked as a chef in summer camps in New Zealand, Australia, & Hawaii.
