Job Purpose/Objective:
|
The Systems Inventory Control Clerk will take care of the daily inventory count reconciliation, allocation, transfers and adjustments as a support to the Receiving Department and the Purchasing Department.
|
|
Essential Job Functions
|
1. Reconcile inventory counts between the physical and system; daily and end of month (EOM)
2. Run reports to identify and resolve inventory problems in coordination with the Inventory Control Manager
3. Copies and distributes daily inventory reports to appropriate personnel
4. Allocate sales, product transfers and inventory adjustments
5. Verify physical counts when discrepancies are discovered
6. Create product movement reports
Additional Job Functions:
1.Assist with contracted item pricing
2. Deal with warehouse manage system i.e. create new slot locations, new item codes, RFID, etc.
3. Coordinate with IT to mitigate any problems caused from inventory and purchasing
4. Support purchasing department by monitoring truck passings, entering purchase orders and other duties

1.Degree of physical demands (strength) usually associated with this position: Medium
Environmental conditions (physical surroundings and hazards) usually associated with this position.
Primary office and occasional warehouse. Moving pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Major : Accounting, Business
2. Experience:
Basic Inventory management (1-2 years) in a distribution environment; preferably produce
3. Knowledge:
Basic Microsoft EXCEL and Microsoft Outlook. Basic Inventory Management Software Applications.
4. Skills and Abilities:
Analytical, methodical, high level of math skills and self-motivated. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment, possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, and have strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Education:
Post Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Major: Accounting, Business
2. Experience:
Advanced Inventory management (3-5 years) in a produce distribution environment
3. Knowledge
Advanced Microsoft EXCEL and Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Intermediate Inventory Management Software Applications
4. Skills and Abilities:
Flexibility and adaptable to change in work assignments and priorities. Experience in inventory management, experience with process control improvements and analytical training. Bi-lingual (Spanish & English).
