Qualifications:

We are looking for an outgoing person who wants to break into the sales field. This position requires experience in sales or customer service and a knowledge of the DC metro area, along with a valid driver's license. Knowledge of the produce industry is helpful. Because this position requires constant contact with a wide variety of people, strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary as is the ability to be self motivated. We want someone who has the initiative to work without constant supervision and to resolve problems with creativity and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting new position which is a great entry into the sales world. An Account Development Specialist will be responsible for working with the sales manager and the VP of sales to increase business with existing customers. This may be through explanations of new products, Keany Produce systems, or trends in the industry, to problem resolution including credit issues and making sure the customers has the product needed when they need it.
